Workplace
health promotion consists of the nine major programme areas: health assessment,
physical activity (fitness), nutrition, weight management, tobacco control and
cessation, medical self-care, stress management, employee assistance programmes
and ergonomics. Our specific approach
considers the synergistic relationship of People, Environment, Culture and
Processes and also addresses the Seven Spheres of Wellness - Physical,
Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Spiritual, Career and Environmental.
Our
programmes are designed to help organizations and individuals develop a healthy
culture by encouraging self-responsibility for managing health. We identify specific goals for wellness/health
promotion, such as, reducing absenteeism, managing stress, reducing the cost of
disease care and preventing health risk, thereafter, we develop and manage
programmes to achieve identified goals and measure their impact and success.
